Ross Butterfield is the Director of Strategic Alliances for Sharp Decisions Texas Branch. With over a decade of experience he joined Sharp Decisions to help build the DFW market. He is skilled in strategic IT consulting, business development, account management, and IT recruiting. His father, several family members, and many of his friends all proudly served in the Military which engrains his passion for building the V.E.T.S. program.
He is a Dallas, TX native so naturally he enjoys all Dallas pro sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys. Ross looks forward to serving his clients, building the DFW branch and establishing strategic Veteran alliances in the southern region.
Ed McCann has nearly three decades of experience in the technology management consulting field, and has spent the past 11 of those years with Sharp Decisions. Based in New York, Ed specializes in the technology, financial, healthcare and government sectors, and is a subject matter expert in the areas of cybersecurity, application development, cloud infrastructure services, Salesforce CRM, and outsourcing.
At Sharp Decisions, Ed’s primary role includes interfacing with C-Suite level clients, and handles all facets of project engagement. His career has been built on technical in the field experience, and as the strategic V.E.T.S. program manager, he works with clients to address challenges and identify the right talent with the right areas of expertise to solve them.
Prior to joining Sharp Decisions, Ed was a partner at Dynax Solutions. He is a graduate of the New York Institute of Technology.
A New England native, a graduate of the University of Hartford and a transplant to the Desert of the Sun, Rain has extensive professional recruiting and consulting experience spanning globally. He has progressed his talent acquisition career from Sales & Marking, worldwide Semiconductor Executive Head Hunter to Global Relationship Manager in the Information Technology vertical. He is responsible for formulating national and global client partnerships for Sharp Decisions consulting and recruiting services.
Rain adheres to the principals of customer relationship fostering as a trusted business partner with creative and innovative techniques to secure top IT talent nationwide for his clientele. Never one to say “no” or to shy away from a challenging client request, with a quick wit and a large inviting smile, Rain has always been a highly respected and reliable customer advocate.
Ashley Putnam is an established executive with over 15 years of experience in the IT consulting industry. As the Senior Director of Client Solutions for Sharp Decisions, she leads a team that is dedicated to securing talented IT resources that help achieve client goals and objectives.
Based in Tampa Bay, Ashley manages the overall operations, sales, and recruiting efforts for the Florida market. She is passionate about the Tampa Bay Tech community and has been involved with Women In Technology International, WITI since 2013. She currently sits on the Board for the WITI 2019 leadership team.
MEET THE TALENT ACQUISITION LEADERSHIP TEAM
With over 10 years of talent acquisition experience, Mark provides recruiting support to a diverse range of Sharp’s clients. Working across multiple sectors allows him to set the talent acquisition roadmap for his clients and team. Prior to joining Sharp, Mark spent a number of years in Executive search within numerous Fortune 500 corporations. In addition, his background in creative copywriting and value for the English language has cemented his reputation as an effective communicator in global talent acquisition.
Eric Wegfahrt is the Director of Fintech Recruitment, Digitization and Quantum Computing Technologies. With over 20 years of technical recruiting experience, and coming from a “recruiting family”, Eric has been with Sharp Decisions for over 12 years. As both a hands-on recruiter and manager, his background in the NY Metro area marketplace gives him an in-depth understanding of the Fintech / Wall Street culture, as well as, the healthcare, insurance, government and consumer products industries. He additionally has contributed to our V.E.T.S. program recruiting efforts since its inception and has a finger on the pulse of cutting edge technologies as they continually emerge.
Carl Noel is the Director of Global Resource Management for Sharp Decisions. As an Information Technology Industry expert with over 20 years of experience in full lifecycle recruiting and business development, Carl has led several large scale and high visibility lifecycle implementation projects at Sharp.
His experience is primarily in the Financial Services, Healthcare, and Government industries. In addition, he’s worked closely with Sharp Decisions’ V.E.T.S. program since its inception in 2013. He continues to stay in tune with market trends and cutting edge technology, as well as find new strategies/methods to attract new clients and resources. He is a graduate of St. Peter’s University.
Gus Ganaden joined Sharp Decisions in February 2013. Gus has established himself as a consistent pillar within the firm; using every failure or obstacle as a learning experience for the future.
He believes in working with integrity and humility and values the relations he builds with candidates and clients alike – throughout the IT Industry. During a typical day, Gus focuses on a wide spectrum of technical requirements needed by clients in the Financial Services, Healthcare, and Government sectors. He specializes in recruiting for Java, .NET, Big Data, DevOps, Cyber Security, Application/Full-Stack Developers, Programmers, and Quants – at all experience levels.
Along with the core business, Gus also works with military veterans for clients who have partnered with Sharp Decisions’ V.E.T.S. program. He believes that one of his biggest strengths is in building the trust and comfort for the candidate in their search and matching them with the clients who understand the caliber of the resources we are providing.
Jamey Levin is the Western Region Resource Manager for Sharp Decisions, and has been with the company for over 17 years. Prior to working with Sharp Decisions, he began his career with Keane where he recruited for Y2K related projects before transitioning into tech staffing needs for the dot.com boom. Having grown his interest in talent management and problem solving within technology, he joined Sharp Decisions in 2002 where he has play an integral role in growing the company’s account base.
Debra Gioeli is a Lead Resource Manager with Sharp Decisions, and has over ten years of experience in IT recruitment. She is responsible for managing the Vendor Management Requirements and the recruiters who support them, specifically in the areas of Information Technology and Operations.
She works directly with the Master Service Providers, fielding requests for talent requirements and sharing specific needs with the Sharp Decisions team. She also reviews open positions and works with appropriate management to better determine the capabilities they need, and how they can be addressed.
Debra is a graduate of SUNY Albany and is passionate about staying up to speed on the newest technologies available to the IT staffing industry.
